I No Longer Dislike Sparkling Water and This Is a Surprise for Me

I’ve been on a sparkling water kick of late thanks to my late introduction to Zevia and a neighbor’s generous offer of her Waterloo water. Thanks to the natural zero-sugar sodas made with stevia, I’ve been able to stomach the taste of sparkling water for the first time, and I have actually come to enjoy it.

Sadly, not even an hour ago, I chipped the back of a front tooth which had already been weakened over the years when my jaw would pop while eating, causing my bottom teeth to slide into the back of my upper front teeth, so now I will have to pass the rest of the sparkling waters onto my neighbor, the same one who was behind me giving sparkling water another chance.

(This also means I’ll be holding off on trying the Strawberry Zevia. I was really looking forward to it.)

My neighbor had given me a citrus ginger Waterloo water and it was great. I think because Zevia is a clear soda no matter the flavor, it helped me stomach the idea of bubbles in flavored water. The idea had always been absurd to me until now.

Anyways, the reason I wanted to write a blog post is that anytime I try a new product or come across a company that seems to be taking up space or has a beloved following, I am piqued to take a look into it. Take Ollipop, for example, over the last couple of years, it has been a craze due to TikTok and influencers on social media marketing platforms.

So naturally, I looked into it and found out it was a private company. Even then, if it was a public company, I would have looked further beyond the influence to see if it had longevity past the influence and social media marketing stage.

It’s what I did with Zevia, and it’s a public company now on my watch list. Right now, the stock price is gnarly, but I am hoping with the next earnings call there will be some breathing room, but who knows.

I will be setting some time aside and will research the food and beverage industry, if not tonight than tomorow. Even if I don’t add any shares to the investment fund, I enjoy the process of understanding companies and the market trend of the food and beverage industry.
